I keep doing this!  That is waiting months to put in an entry!  Well, I just started a new blogger at www.homeschoolblogger.com/jayfink143    So, that's part of why I have been busy.  Hope you can take the time to visit it.  I will probably keep more homeschool entries there, and more pictures here.

Well, I started working at Target part-time, and I'm enjoying it!  I miss my family a lot but they are having fun with Daddy/Pauly and I also made a new best friend already.  Her name is Christine and her husband is Elvis and they have a little boy named Evan.  We have sooooo much in common! 

 

The kids and I have started homeschool, and we have an exciting year ahead of us.  The new homeschool groups I joined have had there back-to-school events this week.  It was neat to see that hundreds of families homeschool and to see all the field trips/events/activities that are available.  The REACH group event was today at AMF and we went with Christine and Evan.  We bowled two games and had a lot of fun! (see the photos!)

We just got back from VA Beach and it was a blast! We went on Friday the 19th and picked up my little cousin Christine.  We stayed with my cousin "Auntie Jenn" who lives minutes from the beach.  Friday night we went to Peabody's (a surfer style night club).  Saturday we spent at the beach, then at night we visited Jenn at her work at AppleBee's. Sunday was spent at the beach, and sunday night was spent at a really nice bar called Red Star.  We are now back today, Monday the 22nd and back to work tomorrow (I start working part-time at Target).   Tommorrow will be the kids first day of homeschool (I'm going easy on them for the first week!).    

We have had a great summer! For Alex's birthday we got to go to Kings Dominon (the kids first time).  We went to Virginia Beach with Auntie Jenn (we love the beach!) and we are going again this weekend.  We also got to see a few movies this summer, like Madagascar and Fantastic Four.  We have been enjoying bowling almost every week (its new for our family) and the kids do so great.

 

We are excited about the new school year!  Pauly finished the last room in the basement and it will be an arts/crafts/science and writining classroom (See pics).

Plus I have joined some new homeschool groups in the area!  This school year will be very exciting for us filled with field trips and lots of social activities!

 

Our Kitty had kittens (see the pics) and the are sooo cute.  Also check out pics of our new swing set!

 

God has blessed us soo much and I give him so much praise for all his blessings and gifts!
